Brisbane Roar have confirmed the signing of forward Adam Zimarino on a one-year deal on June 27th.
The 23-year-old is now reunited with Ruben Zadkovich, after the two parties mutually agreed to terminate his contract with Perth.
Zimarino struggled for game time at Perth Glory last season, featuring only 25 times in the league. The move to Brisbane not only provides Zimarino with the chance to reunite with former coach Zadkovich but also the likelihood of more game time next season.
“My decision was pretty easy after speaking with Ruben, Zach (CEO Zach Anderson) and the rest of the club,” said Zimarino. “Personally, I want to contribute to the team this year, score goals and ultimately help the team win.”
The Roar are undergoing a rebuild this off-season as Zadkovich prepares for his first full season in charge of the club.
