On July 5, Melbourne Victory announced the signing of free agent, Piscopo, on a two-year deal.
The 26-year-old Piscopo graduated from Inter Milan’s youth academy. He plays as a left winger and can also play as an attacking midfielder. He has previously played for Renate, Wellington Phoenix, and Newcastle Jets, with 90 appearances in the A-League, scoring 10 goals and providing 12 assists.
At the end of June this year, Piscopo’s contract with the Jets officially expired, making him a free agent.
Piscopo was a key player for the Italian U15 to U17 teams, but later chose to play for the Australian U23 team. To date, Piscopo has not yet been called up to the senior national team.
