The 40-year-old Lahm says he will rent out his house in the Bavarian holiday resort of Tegernsee for €21 per night and has promised to personally welcome his guests.
For just €21, you can have a glimpse of Lahm’s career as his house is filled with memorabilia and photographs from his time as a professional footballer.
Apart from an early loan spell at Stuttgart, Lahm’s entire professional career was spent playing for Bayern Munich. He made 517 appearances for the club, helping them win numerous honours. At international level, he made 113 appearances for Germany, captaining the team to World Cup glory in Brazil in 2014.
Lahm told AD magazine: “I love being a host, as a footballer I have travelled all over the world. I thought it would be a nice idea to give other people the opportunity to stay overnight at my house.”
Lahm has priced his holiday home stay at €21 (only for the night of October 18), in honour of the number he wore for Bayern Munich. The lucky winner of the booking will also get two tickets to a Bayern Munich match, a Bavarian dinner prepared by a professional chef, and a signed Lahm jersey.
