German Media: Bayern Munich Increase Bid for Jonathan Tah, Total Value in Million Euros

German Sky Sports and Kicker have both confirmed that Bayern Munich have increased their bid for Bayer Leverkusen center-back Jonathan Tah, but negotiations remain stalled.

Jonathan Tah’s contract with Leverkusen expires in June 2025. Bayern submitted a bid of €20 million plus €5 million in bonuses to Leverkusen a few days ago, increasing their previous offer of €18 million + €2 million by several million euros.

But Sky Sports understands that Bayern’s latest offer is still not satisfactory to Leverkusen. Jonathan Tah personally hopes to move to Bayern, but Leverkusen is unwilling to let him go, so he was forced to start training with Leverkusen again on Saturday.

Meanwhile, Bayern’s transfer talks with Manchester United regarding Dutch center-back De Ligt have also hit a deadlock. Manchester United is unwilling to meet Bayern’s asking price of €50 million plus variable bonuses. Sky Sports understands that the two sides are €15 million apart on the transfer fee for De Ligt.
