On July 26, Bundesliga newcomers officially announced the signing of 21-year-old Wales international Stevens.

The club is continuing to strengthen its squad for the Bundesliga campaign, with Welsh international Finn Stevens joining from Premier League side Brentford. Both sides have agreed not to disclose the terms of the transfer.
Stevens is 21 years old and signed for Brentford in 2020, but spent last season on loan at fellow newly promoted Championship side Oxford United, making a total of 43 appearances in League One, the play-offs and cup matches, scoring one goal and providing five assists.
