On July 21st, Borussia Dortmund played their first match of their summer Asian tour against Thai team Buriram United. The Yellow and Blacks lost 0-4.
Dortmund showed a lot of respect to the Thai fans and their opponents, starting Adeyemi, Brandt, Nmecha, Moukoko and Süle, with Haller, Kamara and Ben Sebaïni coming on as substitutes.
Surprisingly, Dortmund suffered a blow in the first half, watching as Dandaw and Lorenzen exchanged goals to give the Thai team a 2-0 lead at half-time.
Both sides made extensive substitutions in the second half. Dortmund continued their carefree tour match mode and were scored upon twice by Chalermsak, eventually losing 0-4.
According to the schedule, Dortmund will play against Cerezo Osaka on July 24th.
