On July 31st, Mainz 05 announced that Sano Kaishu is immediately available to join the team and will report to pre-season training camp on Thursday.
Mainz 05 tweeted, “Sano Kaishu is now available to join the team. The Tokyo Public Prosecutors Office has discontinued the investigation against the player. Sano Kaishu will join the training camp on Thursday.”
Sano Kaishu was released on July 29th and subsequently issued an apology through his agency.
