Bayern Munich have announced that new signing Hiroki Ito suffered a metatarsal fracture during a friendly match against Düren.
Ito will be sidelined for several weeks, ruling him out of Bayern’s remaining friendlies. Bayern Sporting Director Hasan Salihamidžić said: “This is obviously a very heavy blow. We will give him the best possible support so that he can recover quickly and return to the pitch.”
