On August 3, according to well-known journalist Fabrizio Romano, Dortmund forward Youssoufa Moukoko has chosen to join French giants Marseille.
Romano wrote: “Exclusive: Youssoufa Moukoko has decided to join Olympique Marseille! Despite offers from over 5 clubs across Europe, Moukoko wanted to join Marseille. Now it’s about to be a loan with a buy option clause in the agreement between Marseille and Dortmund. Here we go!”
The 19-year-old Moukoko made 27 appearances (6 starts) for Dortmund in all competitions last season, scoring 6 goals. He is currently valued at €22 million by Transfermarkt.
