According to Sky Germany, RB Leipzig are currently working hard to find a replacement for Olmo, and Lyon’s Cherki is one of their main candidates.
While no verbal agreement has been reached between Leipzig and Cherki, negotiations are ongoing, while Lyon have stopped talks with Dortmund regarding a transfer for Cherki. It is understood that Lyon are asking for €15 million + €2 million for Cherki. Leipzig’s more expensive options include: John Bakayoko (PSV Eindhoven) and Conceição (Porto).
According to transfer expert Romano, Olmo’s move to Barcelona cost a total of €62 million.
