According to German media outlet Bild, Dortmund has reached an agreement with German international forward Bayer on a transfer. They are now prepared to submit an offer of €25 million to Hoffenheim.
Previously, Dortmund agreed to the transfer of their starting striker, Niclas Füllkrug, to West Ham United. Bayer is expected to join Dortmund as a replacement.
Reports suggest that Dortmund only wants to use the funds from Füllkrug’s transfer to sign Bayer. Füllkrug’s fixed transfer fee is reportedly €27 million, with an additional €5 million in add-ons.
Hoffenheim’s asking price for Bayer is around €30 million, which is not far from Dortmund’s offer. The two clubs will now enter negotiations.
