Former Liverpool centre-back Joel Matip is reportedly a candidate to replace Jonathan Tah at Bayer Leverkusen, according to Sky Germany.
Jonathan Tah is a target for Bayern Munich this summer and Leverkusen have held very positive talks with Matip about a move. The 32-year-old became a free agent after his contract expired this summer.
Matip is interested in a move to Bundesliga giants Leverkusen and the two sides are in talks over a two-year deal, but there is no verbal agreement yet.
However, Leverkusen are not the only club interested in the Cameroon international, Matip has other options.
