HWG! Romano: Dortmund sign Hoffenheim forward Beyer for €30 million

Renowned transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano has confirmed, with his signature “Here We Go!”, that Borussia Dortmund will be signing 21-year-old Hoffenheim forward Max Beyer for a total fee of €30 million.

The deal is understood to be complete, with Beyer set to sign a five-year professional contract with Dortmund, valid until June 2029. The club will arrange a medical for Maxi Beyer on Monday local time.

Currently 21 years old, Beyer was born in Cottbus and moved to Hoffenheim’s youth system in 2018. He previously spent a loan spell at Hannover 96. Last season, he made 35 appearances for Hoffenheim across all competitions, starting 30 times, scoring 16 goals and providing one assist. The player’s current Transfermarkt value is €30 million.
