On June 27, FC Bayern Munich announced the termination of their collaboration with Holger Broich, head of the first team’s scientific, physical diagnostics and fitness department.
Since joining Bayern in July 2014, Broich has been the head of scientific, physical diagnostics and fitness department for the first team, as well as being responsible for the entire youth team.
During his time at Bayern, he won a total of nine Bundesliga titles, one Champions League title, one Club World Cup title, one European Super Cup title, three German Cup titles and six German Super Cup titles with the team.
Bayern sporting director Hasan Salihamidžić said that Broich has experienced the most successful decade in the club’s history, combining his scientific knowledge with his vast experience, making outstanding contributions to the team’s physical performance, training management and youth development. The club thanks him for his dedication over the past ten years and wishes him all the best for the future.
