Bochum have announced the signing of Croatian centre-back Jakov Medic on loan from Ajax. The loan deal is for one season, until 30 June 2025, and includes an option to buy. The 25-year-old defender’s contract with Ajax runs until 30 June 2028.
Medic is well-acquainted with German football, having previously played for Nuremberg, Wehen Wiesbaden and St. Pauli, from whom he joined Ajax in August 2023.
