Is This Amount of Money Still Being Withheld? Hannover Officials: Didn’t Receive Kohr’s Transfer Fee, Have Filed an AppealDuring the 2024 winter transfer window, left-back Kohr, who played for Hannover 96 in the German second division, chose to join Turkish giants Galatasaray. The transfer fee was €3.5 million fixed plus €500,000 in floating bonuses (including appearance fees, championship bonuses, etc.), totaling approximately €4 million.

This transfer fee is not a small amount for a club in the German second division. Hannover 96 factored this income into their €16 million total budget for the 2024/25 season.

However, Hannover 96 chairman Martin Kind said in an interview with German media outlet Bild: “Galatasaray has not paid Kohr’s transfer fee on time. They haven’t transferred the money into our account, and we have filed an appeal with UEFA and are taking legal action.”

Since joining Galatasaray, Kohr has played 14 times for the team, all starts, and contributed one goal and two assists, winning the Turkish Super Lig championship.
