Portuguese club Benfica have officially announced the signing of Heidenheim midfielder Beste.
The 25-year-old Beste came through the ranks at Borussia Dortmund and has also played for Werder Bremen, among other clubs. Last season he made 31 appearances in the league for Heidenheim, scoring 8 goals and providing 11 assists, making him a key player in midfield.
According to media reports, the transfer fee for Beste is €10 million and he will sign a five-year contract with Benfica.
