Shao Jiayi was born in Beijing on April 10, 1980. He started his football career at Beijing Guoan and subsequently played for 1860 Munich, Energie Cottbus, and MSV Duisburg. He was hailed by German media as the “Asian Golden Left Foot” and played 41 times for the Chinese national team, scoring 8 goals and providing 1 assist.
After retiring in 2015, Shao Jiayi served as the director of Beijing Guoan, training director of the National Team Management Department of the Chinese Football Association, leader and assistant coach of the U19 national men’s team, head of the coaching staff of the U18 national men’s team, and assistant coach of the national men’s team.
Reiner Maurer was born in Mindelheim, Germany on February 16, 1960. He currently holds a UEFA Pro License. As a player, Maurer was a defender known for his excellent defensive skills. He played for Bayern Munich, 1860 Munich, Bielefeld, Stuttgart, and other clubs in Germany and Switzerland. In 1995, Maurer began his coaching career and served as assistant coach and head coach at 1860 Munich during Shao Jiayi’s time at the club. From 2021 to 2022, Maurer was the assistant coach at Augsburg in the Bundesliga, helping the team to successfully avoid relegation.
Yang Zhi was born in Guangzhou, Guangdong Province on January 15, 1983. As a player, he was a goalkeeper and played for Beijing Guoan for a long time, serving as the starting goalkeeper of the first team. He helped Beijing Guoan win the 2009 Chinese Super League title and the 2018 Chinese FA Cup title. Yang Zhi was also selected for the Chinese national team several times and played in international A-level competitions like the Asian Cup as the starting goalkeeper. After retiring in 2020, Yang Zhi served as the goalkeeper coach of the U19 national youth team.
