Official: Yuichi Nishimura becomes the first referee in J.League history to reach 400 games

According to the J.League official, referee Yuichi Nishimura has reached 400 J.League matches officiated, making him the first referee to achieve this feat.

Nishimura took charge of the J.League’s 24th round match between Gamba Osaka and Shonan Bellmare, becoming the first referee to officiate 400 J.League matches. Born in 1972, Nishimura’s first J.League game was on April 6, 2003, a match between Vissel Kobe and Cerezo Osaka.
