J-League club Machida Zelvia has officially announced the signing of former Nagoya Grampus forward Yuki Soma.
The 27-year-old Soma came through the Nagoya Grampus youth system, and spent the past season and a half on loan to Portuguese side Casa Pia, where he made 56 appearances, scoring 7 goals and providing 5 assists.
On the international stage, Soma has made 14 appearances for Japan, scoring 5 goals, and was part of the squad that competed in the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
According to reports, Soma’s transfer fee is as high as 350 million yen (around 2 million euros).
