J.League club Sagan Tosu has officially announced that midfielder Ayumu Yokoyama will be leaving the team and is set to transfer to an overseas club.
The 21-year-old Yokoyama, a product of Matsumoto Yamaga’s youth system, joined Sagan Tosu in 2023. He made 26 appearances across all competitions this season, scoring 6 goals and providing 3 assists.
According to media reports, his new club will be Birmingham City in the English Championship.
