J-League club Kawasaki Frontale officially announced that the team has signed Sagan Tosu midfielder Kawa Genki.
The 26-year-old Kawa Genki joined Kumamoto Deep Red after graduating from university. He transferred to Sagan Tosu last season and has made 60 appearances in the J-League for the team in one and a half seasons, scoring 2 goals.
Previously, Kawasaki Frontale announced that midfielder Seko Junya is about to leave the team to play overseas. Therefore, Kawa Genki’s arrival will effectively complement the team’s midfield depth. Kawa Genki is expected to make his debut for his new team in the next round of the J-League match against Urawa Red Diamonds.
