On August 16, Machida Zelvia officially announced the transfer of Oita Trinita goalkeeper Eito Arai to the team.
Arai, 28, is a graduate of Ryutsu Keizai University and has played for Shimizu S-Pulse, Zweigen Kanazawa, Blaublitz Akita, and Oita Trinita. He joined Oita Trinita in January 2023 but has yet to make an appearance for the team in an official match.
Currently, Machida Zelvia is ranked first in the J-League with a record of 15 wins, 5 draws, and 6 losses.
