The J League has announced that Shonan Bellmare manager Satoshi Yamaguchi has been named the league’s Manager of the Month for July.
In July’s three league matches, Shonan Bellmare won all three, defeating Urawa Reds, Jubilo Iwata and Gamba Osaka. In their last five matches, Shonan Bellmare have won four and drawn one, and have now successfully escaped the relegation zone, with 29 points and sitting in 16th place.
In the next round of the league, Shonan Bellmare will be playing at home against Kashiwa Reysol.
