J.League club Cerezo Osaka has officially announced that captain Hiroshi Kiyotake will join Sagan Tosu on loan until the end of the season.
The 34-year-old Kiyotake joined Cerezo Osaka in 2010 and embarked on his overseas career in 2012. He returned to Cerezo Osaka from Sevilla in Spain in 2017 and has been playing there ever since.
This season, Kiyotake has only appeared in 11 games for Cerezo Osaka across all competitions, with just 3 starts, due to injuries. In order to get more playing time, he has decided to leave Cerezo Osaka after a decade and join Sagan Tosu to help the team avoid relegation.
