During pre-match warm-ups for the J2 League’s 21st round match between Tochigi SC and Chiba City on June 22nd, Suzuki sustained an injury, later diagnosed as a left Achilles tendon rupture. Suzuki underwent surgery on June 25th, and his expected recovery time is six months.
Daisuke Suzuki, 34, is a defender and has appeared in 15 matches this season for Chiba City, scoring three goals.
