On July 9, Consadole Sapporo officially announced the signing of Portuguese midfielder Francisca.
Francisca, 26, is a product of Vizela’s youth academy and has played for Vizela, Guimarães, Mafra and Hassem. In July 2023, Francisca joined Portuguese second division side Madeira Navigation on a free transfer. Last season, Francisca made 31 appearances for Madeira Navigation with one assist.
Consadole Sapporo is currently in last place in the J1 League with 11 points from 2 wins, 5 draws and 15 losses. The team will travel to face Yamagata Mountain Gods in the Emperor’s Cup tomorrow.
