Incheon United FC officially announced that rapper BewhY will be the halftime performer for the team’s upcoming match.
BewhY won the championship of “Show Me the Money 5” in 2016 and later became a mentor in “Show Me the Money 8” and “Show Me the Money 9,” making him one of the most popular rappers in South Korea.
Having grown up in Yeonsu-gu, Incheon, BewhY is known as the “Son of Incheon.” He has repeatedly expressed his love for the city of Incheon in his songs and has frequently appeared in Incheon’s city branding advertisements, enjoying high prestige in the area.
According to the schedule, BewhY will perform during the halftime break of the match between Incheon United and FC Seoul. Previously, Incheon United had invited Song Da-hye, a former member of BESTie, as a halftime performer, receiving positive responses.
