Pohang Steelers Donate Over a Ton of Rice with Every Goal Scored

Today, the K League’s Pohang Steelers held a “Hope Sharing Rice Delivery Ceremony” at the Seonin-dang, a local children’s temporary care facility. The club’s management and some players, including Pohang City Mayor Park Jae-geun, attended the event.

Pohang Steelers Donate Over a Ton of Rice with Every Goal Scored

Before the start of this season, Pohang Steelers announced that they would donate 6 bags of rice, each weighing 10 kilograms, for every goal scored in the league. So far this season, the team has scored 23 goals in the league, accumulating a donation of 138 bags of rice, weighing over 1 ton.

In response to this, Pohang Steelers’ foreign player Oliveira also expressed his desire to score more goals, enabling the donation of even more rice.
