According to Yonhap News Agency, Son Heung-min’s father, Son Woong-jung, and two coaches from his football training institute were referred to the Korean prosecution for investigation.
One of the coaches has been identified as Son Heung-min’s brother. The two coaches have been accused of assaulting the player, while Son Woong-jung is facing allegations of verbally abusing players for mistakes made during training.
Son Woong-jung has denied the abuse allegations against himself and the coaches, calling the players’ parents’ claims false and stating he is willing to cooperate with authorities.
