LAFC has officially announced that defender Mamadou Fall has permanently transferred to Barcelona.
The 21-year-old Senegalese player is no stranger to La Liga, having been loaned to Villarreal B for the 2022-23 season. One of the brightest young talents in Major League Soccer, Fall scored 5 goals and added 1 assist in 36 regular-season appearances (30 starts).
Last September, Mamadou Fall was loaned to Barcelona, where he made 22 appearances for their B team, scoring 2 goals and providing 1 assist. Barcelona was impressed with his performance and decided to sign him permanently.
