According to AS, Real Madrid are looking to sign another center-back and are considering bringing back former academy reject Gila.
Gila, 23, played for Real Madrid’s youth academy between 2018-2022, before being sold to Lazio in the summer of 2022. Gila was a member of Spain’s U21 team. After missing out on signing Yoro, who was snatched up by Manchester United, Real Madrid have had to turn their attention to a player they once discarded.
Gila recently suffered a toe fracture, but after examination, it was confirmed to be a minor injury and he is expected to return in a month. He is reportedly open to returning to Real Madrid.
