According to AS, Sevilla hope to loan 21-year-old Barcelona forward Ansu Fati, believing that he will leave the club after the US tour.
After ending his loan spell at Brighton, Fati returned to Barcelona’s first team. His contract with Barcelona expires in June 2027. As things stand, Fati and Vitor Roque are both players that Barcelona must offload, while their top priority this summer is to sign Dani Olmo and Nico Williams, who will join Yamal and Lewandowski as regular starters. Ferran Torres and Raphinha are slightly further down the pecking order.
As for Fati, Barcelona hopes to loan him out to save most of his salary, but Sevilla’s offer is very low. Regardless, Barcelona will respect the player’s decision, and Fati is free to choose his destination.
