Mallorca forward Muriqi recently praised Japanese player Takuma Asano in an interview with Marca.
Muriqi said: “Takuma Asano is very fast and has good vision when he plays. I think he is very aware of his strengths. I think we will do well this season, Takuma Asano knows how to move on the pitch. In my opinion, he is more of a winger than a center forward. If there is space on the wing, we can use that speed to break through or go one-on-one. Takuma Asano’s arrival is a good addition to the team, we have to help him adapt as soon as possible.”
Asano, 29, played for Bochum last season, scoring 7 goals and providing 1 assist in 32 appearances. This summer, Asano joined Mallorca on a free transfer.
