Recently, Real Sociedad president Jokin Aperribay denied receiving any offers for Takefusa Kubo in an interview with the media.
Aperribay told Mundo Deportivo: “To be honest, we haven’t spoken to any club about Kubo’s transfer. We are in the transfer market, anything is possible, but Kubo is very happy here, he will continue to stay at the club. We love him very much and hope he will stay at Real Sociedad forever.”
According to reports, Kubo’s contract with Real Sociedad includes a €60 million release clause, and Real Sociedad will only let him go if they receive the buyout fee.
