August 1 According to several Spanish media reports, Barcelona has updated its offer for Leipzig midfielder Dani Olmo today, with a fixed transfer fee of €50 million and €15 million in add-ons.
But according to the deputy editor of *Sport*, Barça’s latest offer is €47 million in fixed transfer fee plus €13 million in add-ons, for a total of €60 million. The fixed transfer fee has increased by €7 million from the previous offer.
Barça is reportedly not giving up on Nico Williams and is still trying to sign Olmo. Leipzig are hoping to receive €60 million in the transfer, which is in line with the previous release clause.
Sport revealed that Barça’s latest offer for Olmo includes three parts: the first part is €47 million in fixed transfer fee, which will be paid directly to Leipzig; the second part is €3 million in appearance clauses, which will be paid if Olmo plays a certain number of games as a Barça player; the third part is additional bonus clauses, which will be paid to Leipzig if Olmo wins a series of championships with Barça.
Barça believes that this offer can easily meet Leipzig’s requirements and considers it a very fair offer.
