On July 31st, Real Madrid held a press conference in the United States as they embark on their pre-season tour. Head coach Carlo Ancelotti confirmed that the club will not be making any more signings this summer, stating that their transfer window has officially closed.
Ancelotti asserted that Real Madrid will not be bringing in any new players: “Our squad for the new season is set. Vallejo is back with the team, Alaba is recovering, and we also have young talent like Juan, Jacob, and Raúl-Asensio.”
Speaking about the current Real Madrid squad, Ancelotti expressed confidence: “I’m not worried about the team. We have excellent players in every position, and the arrival of Mbappé is fantastic. We don’t have much time to prepare, but the players have come back in good shape. This season, we lost Kroos, but we have plans in place to replace him.”
Ancelotti also commented on Brazilian starlet Endrick: “He is young, full of power and speed. I can’t demand too much of him. We must remember, his arrival is exciting, and I’m delighted he can fight alongside us.”
Facing a busy season with multiple competitions, Real Madrid could potentially play up to 72 games. Ancelotti addressed this challenge: “The season is very long, and we don’t have a specific physical plan yet. It’s difficult to set a physical plan when you’re facing games every three days. We have to consider rotation and prevent players from becoming exhausted.”
