Atletico Madrid has officially announced the signing of last season’s La Liga Silver Boot winner, Sørloth, from Villarreal on a four-year deal.
Sørloth, 28, is a Norwegian striker known for his towering height of 195 cm. Last season, he played 34 games for Villarreal in La Liga and scored 23 goals, missing out on the Golden Boot by one goal to Girona striker Dovbik (who has now joined Roma).
Atletico Madrid has now officially announced that the club has reached an agreement with Sørloth for his transfer. The player has successfully completed his medical and has signed a four-year contract with the club.
According to Fabrizio Romano, the total transfer fee for Sørloth (fixed amount + add-ons) will be €30 million.
