Romano wrote on social media: “Conor Gallagher to Atlético Madrid, Here we go! Atlético has signed Gallagher to a five-year contract, paying €42 million for the English midfielder. Medical scheduled for Wednesday.”
The combined transfer fee for both players could reach around €137 million.
