On August 8, La Liga side Celta Vigo officially announced the signing of 21-year-old Leipzig midfielder Moriba on loan.
Moriba came through the ranks of Barcelona’s famed La Masia academy, before joining Leipzig in 2021 for a fee of €16 million. He was then loaned out to Valencia and Getafe on multiple occasions. Last season, Moriba made 14 appearances in La Liga for Getafe, registering two assists.
Now, he will join another La Liga side, Celta Vigo, on loan. The deal reportedly includes an option to buy.
