According to Spanish newspaper AS, Brazilian forward Roque is facing a tough time at Barcelona.
AS points out that Roque’s performance in pre-season hasn’t convinced manager Xavi, despite rumours of offers from European clubs. In fact, Barcelona have not received any offers for the player. The club has also not assigned Roque a squad number for the new season.
Roque joined Barcelona in the winter transfer window last year for a total fee of €61 million. However, in half a season, he has only made 16 appearances, starting just 2 times.
