The outlet believes that the arrival of new sponsors and the substantial prize money from participating in the Club World Cup are the main factors behind the club’s overnight wealth.
So far, Atlético Madrid has been the most active club in the Spanish league in terms of transfers. While their cross-town rivals Real Madrid have been relatively quiet, Atlético has been making frequent and significant moves.
