August 6, LaLiga side Girona officially announced that midfielder Oriol Romeu has returned to the club on loan until the end of the season.
Girona’s announcement stated that Romeu will start training with the team on Tuesday. In the 2022/23 season, Romeu played 34 times for the club, scoring two goals.
Last summer, 32-year-old Romeu joined Barcelona for €3.4 million. He played 34 times for Barcelona, of which only 17 were starts, contributing one assist. The player’s current market value is €2 million.
