According to GIVEMESPORT sources, LAFC are in talks with Atletico Madrid to sign Antoine Griezmann.
Sources believe it is a matter of when, not if, Griezmann joins LAFC. The MLS summer transfer window closes on August 14th, putting time pressure on the deal.
Griezmann’s contract expires at the end of the 2024-25 season, with a €10m release clause active this summer. The two clubs have entered negotiations, with the transfer fee expected to be lower than the release clause. If LAFC triggered the release clause, the ultimate decision would be down to the player.
