Atlético Madrid has announced the signing of Chelsea midfielder Conor Gallagher on a contract until 2029.
According to renowned journalist Fabrizio Romano, Gallagher’s transfer fee is €42 million.
The 24-year-old Gallagher joined Chelsea’s youth academy in 2008 and was loaned out to Charlton, Swansea, West Bromwich Albion and Crystal Palace before becoming a first-team member in 2022.
Gallagher has made 95 appearances for Chelsea’s first team, scoring 10 goals and providing 10 assists.
