According to Spanish media outlet Relevo, Barcelona are interested in signing Hull City winger Folarin Balogun on loan with an option to buy.
The report claims that Barcelona were initially looking to sign Nico Williams, but the club’s lack of financial resources forced them to activate their Plan B. It is understood that Barcelona have already contacted Hull City to discuss the possibility of signing Balogun.
The 22-year-old Balogun is a winger who came through the ranks at Villa. He joined Hull City last summer for a transfer fee of €5.8 million. In the 2023/24 season, Balogun made 32 appearances in the Championship, scoring 12 goals and providing six assists.
