Spanish newspaper AS reports that Real Sociedad are about to sign Hummels on a free transfer, with both parties having reached a full agreement.
According to AS, Real Sociedad have been in contact with Hummels since Tuesday to negotiate a deal. The club hopes to make the signing official by next Monday. During this time, Hummels also received an offer from Leverkusen, but the defender rejected it and is only interested in joining Real Sociedad.
The two parties will sign a one-year contract, and they are also open to including a clause for an extension.
