According to well-known journalist Romano, Ligue 1 club Lille have made a formal offer for Barcelona defender Mikaël Faye.
Romano wrote on social media: “Lille have made a formal offer to sign Mikaël Faye from Barcelona. Lille and Rennes are leading the race to sign him, as both clubs submitted formal proposals to Barça in recent days.”
Additionally, Romano added: “Barcelona will only sell Faye if a buy-back clause and sell-on clause are included in the deal.”
The 20-year-old Senegalese defender currently has a market value of €10 million. Last season, he played 35 games and scored four goals for Barcelona’s B team.
