According to Spanish publication Marca, Real Madrid is preparing for its most demanding season ever, with a total of 72 games across seven competitions, stretching over nearly 11 months. This unprecedented marathon schedule has sparked anxieties within the Real Madrid dressing room.
“It’s just too much. This rhythm is unsustainable, both for us and our families. The pressure is immense,” Real Madrid defender Dani Carvajal candidly voiced his concerns about the packed fixture list.
The new season kicks off on August 14th with the UEFA Super Cup, and ends with the Club World Cup in July of the following year. The arduous journey ahead has weighed heavily on the Real Madrid squad.

However, Ancelotti emphasized the importance of unity within the squad: “Given the sheer number of games, we will utilize our squad depth to ensure every player gets a chance to showcase their abilities.”
He ultimately reaffirmed the importance of the players’ voices: “Federico and Dani are speaking the truth because they are the ones on the front lines of these matches.”
