On August 24, FC Porto officially announced the signing of player Omordion, who has signed a contract until 2029.
The announcement is as follows:
Samu Omordion is the first signing for FC Porto in the 2024/25 season. The 20-year-old striker, who recently won the Olympic Games with Spain, will join FC Porto from Atletico Madrid for €15 million in exchange for 50% of his ownership. FC Porto has signed a five-season contract with the player, valid until 2029, with a €100 million release clause and two non-mandatory purchase options, each for €5 million, for an additional 15% of ownership.
Previously, Omordion was close to joining Chelsea, but the transfer fell through due to his inability to reach an agreement on personal terms with Chelsea.
